Η Διεθνής Λέσχη Αναγνωστών (International Reading Association IRA) είναι μία μη κερδοσκοπική ένωση αναγνωστών που στόχο έχει την προώθηση της λογοτεχνίας αλλά και της φιλαναγωσίας ως μία συνήθεια δια βίου. Για το λόγο αυτό δημιούργησε το δίκτυο ePals ώστε να μπορούν να επικοινωνούν εκπαιδευτικοί και όχι μόνο σε παγκόσμιο και διεθνές επίπεδο.

The International Reading Association (IRA) is a nonprofit membership association of individual and institutional literacy professionals. Our members are dedicated to promoting high levels of literacy for all by improving the quality of reading instruction, disseminating research and information about reading, and encouraging the lifelong reading habit. IRA is proud to partner with ePals to help connect teachers locally, nationally or internationally. IRA's peer-reviewed research and practitioner journals are known throughout the professional literacy community as preferred vehicles for publishing leading research and research-based instructional strategies. These include:

• Reading Research Quarterly (for those committed to scholarship)


• The Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy (for teachers of older students)


• The Reading Teacher (for those working with children up to age 12)
